What personal information does mo’time collect?

The only personal information that mo’time requests during the registration process is your email address and a user name of your own choosing.

At some future time, we may offer you the possibility to create a personal profile, which could include other personal information. Any additional personal information that you submit to mo’time will be protected under the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy.

Technical Information

Every time you visit a page on the Internet, your web browser sends specific information to the web site you are visiting. mo’time's web server logs automatically collect and store this information from your browser, including your IP address, specific type and version of browse, mo’time-related cookies (see below), and the pages you visit at mo'time.

We use this information primarily to help diagnose and fix any technical problems that you may encounter. But we also use IP information to help us limit access to mo’time by users who have violated our Terms of Use (or to help users block access to their mo’time sites by other users).

Cookies

Like most sites that have features requiring registration and sign-in, mo’time uses cookies to recognize you when you return to mo’time and to keep track of your username and password when you are signed in (so you don't have to re-sign in every time you visit a new page at mo'time).

Who else collects personal information from me?

Any personal information that you volunteer on www.motime.com is collected by mo’time alone, unless specifically noted otherwise.

How does mo’time use my personal information?

motime.com uses your personal information primarily to customize your experience using the service. The more information you volunteer, the better we can personalize mo’time's products and services to match your needs and interests.

mo’time uses your email address only to confirm your account and contact you in case of any problems with your account. Upon your request, mo’time may forward additional information to your email address including, but not limited to, messages from visitors to your mo’time site or additional information about developments with respect to our services.

To continue to provide the basic free service, mo’time may display advertisements or other promotional information. Any additional personal information that you volunteer will help mo’time customize the advertisements it displays to match your interests.

mo’time does not share any personally identifiable information with advertisers. mo’time may share general demographic information with advertisers and business partners (such as aggregated statistics about members' interests and occupations). But mo’time never gives advertisers access to your individual personal account information.

What can I do to protect my mo’time account?

Be careful to keep your mo’time username and password secret! Anyone who knows your username and password can log onto your mo’time account.

If you are using a shared computer to access your mo'time account, remember to log out of mo’time before you leave that computer. If you forget to log out, the next person who uses that shared computer may have access to your mo’time account.

To minimize the risk of other people accessing your private mo’time account, we suggest you log out of mo’time before you leave any computer that you use, even a personal one.

What does mo’time do to protect my private and personal information?

motime.com has built a secure infrastructure to safeguard your private information. We will continue to do everything we can to maintain and improve the security of our network. After all, every mo’time employee is also an active mo’time member. We all understand the importance of maintaining a secure system for our private and personal information.

No data transmission over the Internet, however, can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Although mo’time pledges to put forth its best efforts to protect your private information, mo’time cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to or from our online products or services, and you do so at your own risk. Children's Privacy

mo’time is intended for use by people who are at least 13 years old. We will not knowingly allow a person under 13 years old to join mo'time nor will we collect personal information from children under 13.

We have designed our registration process to make it clear that you must be at least 13 years old to participate in the mo’time community.

Special Note to Parents

If you are the Parent or Legal Guardian of a child under 13 who has disregarded our rules and become a mo’time member and you would like his or her account deleted, please email us at: info@motime.com. As soon as we are able to verify your identity (and status as parent or legal guardian) we will immediately delete your child's account. You may also request to see a copy of any information that has been submitted by your child, prior to the account being deleted from our systems.

Is there anything else I should know about privacy issues?

We will do everything in our power to maintain your privacy and online security. Strong privacy and security, however, requires effort from both motime.com and its members. Please be sure to follow the advice listed above for protecting your mo’time account. The best way to protect your privacy is to protect your password; change your password often, and keep it secret, even from motime.com employees. Remember that motime.com employees will never ask you for your password!

I. Introduction


The services mo’time provides to its members are subject to the following Terms of Service ("TOS"). These Terms of Service may be updated from time to time without notice to you.

By completing the registration process, the member indicates his/her agreement to be bound by mo’time's TOS.

II. Description of service

Each registered mo’time member is provided with the following free services: a personal web log, private messaging and instant messaging with other mo'time members.

The purpose of our web log service is to allow the user to upload text data (personal thoughts, information concerning the users interests, website updates, etc.) to his/her personal page, which can be completely customized by the user, apart from removing the top strip (which links to the recently updated blog page and new user registration form) from being displayed. Removal of the strip will result in termination of the account.

mo’time Basic can be used for non-commercial purposes only. Paid-for Premium accounts may display commercial content.

III. Members conduct

All mo’time members are required to and agree to follow the following simple rules of conduct, in order to keep our service enjoyable, and safe for everyone. As a registered mo’time member, you understand that all information, data, text, software, music, sound, photographs, graphics, video, messages or other materials ("Content"), whether publicly posted or privately transmitted, are the sole responsibility of the person from which such Content originated.

This means that you, and not mo’time, are entirely responsible for all Content that you upload, post or otherwise transmit via mo’time.

mo’time does not control the Content posted on our service and, as such, does not guarantee the accuracy, integrity or quality of such Content. You understand that by using the Service, you may be exposed to Content that is offensive, indecent or objectionable.

You further agree to follow the following simple rules of conduct, in order to keep our service enjoyable, and safe for everyone. As a registered mo’time member, you agree not to:

- upload or otherwise transmit any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libelous, invasive of another's privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable;

- harm minors in any way;

- forge headers or otherwise manipulate identifiers in order to disguise the origin of any content transmitted through mo'time;

- upload or otherwise transmit any content that you do not have a right to transmit under any law or under contractual or fiduciary relationships (such as inside information, proprietary and confidential information learned or disclosed as part of employment relationships or under nondisclosure agreements);

- upload or otherwise transmit any content that infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright or other proprietary rights ("Rights") of any party;

- upload or otherwise transmit any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, promotional materials, "junk mail," "spam," "chain letters," "pyramid schemes," or any other form of solicitation, except in those areas (such as shopping rooms) that are designated for such purpose;

- upload or otherwise transmit any material that contains software viruses or any other computer code, files or programs designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware or telecommunications equipment;

- "stalk" or otherwise harass another; or collect or store personal data about other users.

IV. Account termination

mo’time reserves the right to remover an account (including entries, comments, templates, and all other data deleted to this account) if the user has not posted any entry within one month after registration, or after six month of inactivity (no entry posted).

The user will be notified by email seven days before the deletion of his/her account. If an entry is posted within these seven days, the deletion will be postponed to another six months of inactivity.

We also reserve the right to remove an account which violates this TOS without any further notice to the user.

V. Usage limitations

In order to retain the stability of mo’time's system resources, several limitations on the way the user is allowed to use his / her account have been defined. Check the list of features for each level of offering.

Any attempt of going over these limits could result in an account termination.

VI. Copyrights and Content Management

All content uploaded by an mo’time user to his/her account remains property of this user. By registering to mo’time, the user gives mo’time the authorization to display this content. In no circumstances mo’time will claim rights or ownership of content posted or layouts created by the user, neither will we sell this content to a third party.

mo’time may quote or reproduce small portions of your content (if you have made it public) in order to promote your mo’time site and/or the mo’time service, but only on a fair-use-type basis.

mo’time reserves the right to remove any uploaded content from our server in the eventuality that this content violates our Terms of Service.

You acknowledge that mo’time does not pre-screen Content, but that mo’time and its designees shall have the right (but not the obligation) in their sole discretion to refuse or remove any Content that is available via mo’time. Without limiting the foregoing, mo’time and its designees shall have the right to remove any Content that violates this TOS or is otherwise objectionable. You agree that you must evaluate, and bear all risks associated with, the use of any Content, including any reliance on the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of such Content.

VII. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold mo’time, and its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, agents, co-branders or other partners, and employees, harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your Content, your use of mo’time, your connection to mo’time, your violation of these Terms of Service, or your violation of any rights of another.

VIII. Disclaimer

This site is provided by mo’time on an "as is" basis; your use of our service is at your own risk.

mo’time makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, as to the operation of the site, the information, content, materials or products, included on this site.

To the full extent permissible by applicable law, mo’time disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. mo’time will not be liable for any damages of any kind arising from the use of this site, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental punitive and consequential damages.

mo’time makes no guarantee that the service will uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, and that this service will meet your expectations.
